At Unique Hope, we bring together lived experience, professional knowledge, and genuine care. We understand that navigating the education system can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to do it alone.

She offers understanding, empathy, and real life insight to families walking a similar path.
A parent to two girls with neurodiverse traits, Jo has also worked across primary & secondary schools supporting children pastorally.
She brings a unique blend of professional experience, personal understanding, helping families feel heard, supported and empowered.
Unique Hope began in 2025 from a simple idea: families navigating the education system shouldn’t have to feel like they’re doing it alone.
Founded from lived experience and a genuine desire to make things better, Unique Hope has grown into a supportive community where parents and carers can connect, share experiences and find understanding from people who have walked similar paths.
We know that every family’s journey is different. Our aim isn’t to tell people what to do, but to provide a safe, welcoming space where people can talk openly, feel heard and gain the confidence to find the right way forward for their family.
